I am fabulous

OK. Check it out. Just look at this picture and note what a great kitty I am. First of all, how fabulous do I look in the new coat that I got for Christmas? Second, check out how nice I am being to my little cousin River. (I learned about little kids from my cousin Caden when he was really small. They chase you if you run so I try to just sit still for them.)

Also, I have been totally fulfilling my new year's resolutions. One of my resolutions was to become even better at catching lizards. So far, I have caught a lizard every single day of this year. I rule!!

My mom has been less than supportive of my achievements. She keeps telling me that if I continue to catch (and kill) a lizard everyday then they will soon become extinct from our backyard. Dude. As if. There are so many lizards in the backyard. My mom doesn't even know how many there are. There are probably like 100 lizards living in our yard. I only catch one each day. It isn't my fault that they die. They are just wimpy, I guess.

My mom keeps going on about the long-term consequences of my daily actions and blah, blah, blah. I give my lizards to her every single day. Why doesn't she just say thank you and tell me that she is proud of my hunting skills? I am rather annoyed with her right now.

Despite my annoyance with my mom, I have been fetching mousie-poos almost perfectly for both my mom and dad. My other new year's resolution was in regards to my fetching ability. I wanted to reconnect with my skills. It is fun. I don't know why I gave it up for a while.
