Willow sucks

Last weekend was horrible. A puppy named Willow stayed at our house. I didn't like Willow from the very beginning. She is not as cute as me but she thinks she is and she is really good at getting attention. She is so manipulative. The parents are hopeless when it comes to Willow. All she has to do is plop her butt down on the floor and they shower her with praise. I was really embarrassed for my parents every time I saw them fall for one of Willow's ploys. Willow actually thought that I would want to be friends with her. No chance. At one point she finally realized how cool I am. She was totally idolizing me by the time she left. I was still really glad when she finally left.

My new boyfriend

I have had a boyfriend for a while but I was trying to keep it a secret. He has been really obvious about it lately, calling really loudly for me to come out to the front yard to see him. I hope that Mommy and Daddy JerJer don't make a big deal about it.

He came over tonight and Mommy and Daddy took lots of pictures. We separated after the camera came out - I sat in the planter and he sat on the other side of the fence, on the foot path. Then we just decided to pretend that the camera wasn't there. We got up on the ledge together. The photo shoot was kind of embarrassing but then they left and let us be. I think that they understand that I need to have some good friends in the neighborhood. I mean, I just get so sick of puppies sometimes.

Quincy

Yep - that's right. Another one has moved in. Another puppy.

He is here because he had to have surgery on his legs and he needs to recover at our house. His house has a lot of stairs and he needs to avoid stairs for a few weeks. No stairs here!

Mommy and Daddy JerJer were a bit worried about how I would deal with this one, Quincy. They have been surprised that I have been so comfortable being involved with Quincy.

Here's the thing - this puppy is obviously no threat at all. I am clearly prettier, cleaner and smarter than him. He really needs my help. I have been diving in and enjoying my job as assistant puppy trainer (APT). I have been checking on Quincy a lot and helping to make sure he is eating and drinking. Sometimes I help eat the food for him. I love puppy food!!

Back in the game!

Quinta, Quinta, Quinta!

I have been number one for as long as I can remember - until Quinta moved in. I was patient for months but then I realized I needed to make a stand. I will no longer tolerate being left out. I had to go to some extreme measures - one which included breaking part of Mommy's computer - but my parents got the message.

I was included in a family trip to Bicentennial Park on Sunday. It was really fun. I was the best walker and everyone noticed. We went to the start of the mangroves section of the park.

Facebooking!

I need to get back into my blogging. I spend way too much time on Facebook. I just love to tag myself in photos on Facebook. It is such a great feature for someone like me. Surprisingly, I only have two photo albums of myself on my Facebook profile page. The first album features pictures of ME - all of me! The second album, which I titled, "All Dressed Up," features photos of me in all of my various outfits. I also have my own appreciation group on Facebook, The Bella Moon Appreciation Society.

Anyway, Quinta and I have also been into making our photos into pop-art. How cute are we!!

My family is back

After Daddy JerJer left, my aunt Bronwen came to hang out with me for a few weeks. That was nice but I am always happy to see my parents again. I was even happy about seeing my sister, Quinta, again. I kind of missed her.

I think that Quinta missed me too because she let me sit in the outside bed without climbing in and squishing me like she usually does. (She doesn't understand how big she is compared to me!)

Winter break

Well, Mommy and Quinta left for a while. It was just Daddy JerJer and me left at our house. Daddy JerJer got really sick so I had to take care of him. He had fever and would awake to find me curled up next to his head with all 4 of my feet placed on his forehead. It may be seen as a selfish way for me to warm up my chilly feet but I was really interested in helping my dad cool down and feel better. (My feet are usually quite cold in winter, especially since I have been spending a lot of time whacking my mousie-poos over the chilly floors. All of my mousie-poos came out of hiding the day that Quinta left for her holiday.) Shoot, the sooner Daddy gets better, the sooner he could get up to feed me. Thankfully, Grandma Karyn and Grandpa Tony came over to feed me and they took Daddy JerJer to see a doctor.

It is really important to have a daddy during the winter months. They are really warm. My daddy carries me to bed so that I don't have to get out of my blanket.

Nightmare on William Street

I awoke with a start this morning. I had a nightmare about a big, white, jumpy, annoying puppy moving into my home. I ran out of bed to check to make sure that it was just a horrible dream.

You can imagine the horror I felt when I checked the second bedroom. It wasn't a dream. My nightmare is reality.

Why has Quinta now become a part of my dream world? It was my only escape from her. Now I have NOTHING!! HISSSSSSSSS! HIIIISSSSSSSSSS!

Look at this! I even have to share my Daddy-time with her. Why doesn't she just get a life and leave me alone!

My latest obsession.

I am currently obsessed with ladders. I like climbing up them. Quinta can't climb ladders. Sometimes I like climbing down them but usually JerJer falls for my damsel in distress act and he carries me down safely. Oh, and I have also been into tagging.

Sorry Day!

Today is Sorry Day.

I would like to take a minute to say sorry to my parents.

I am sorry for not keeping better track of my mousie-poos.

I am sorry for going over my annual budget.

I am sorry for teaching Quinta about defiance (about how to be a little punk like me!).

I am sorry for continuing to lick Heater even though I keep burning my tongue.

I am sorry for demanding breakfast well before 7am on a daily basis.

I am sorry for biting your arm when you fail to get up the first time I ask for breakfast in the morning. I am also sorry for pulling your hair when biting doesn't get you out of bed to give me my breakfast.

I am sorry that I wandered too far from home and came back beat up a few weeks ago. I know that it worried you.

I am sorry that I can't tolerate Quinta's breath.

I am sorry that I regularly try to claw my way into Quinta's snacks. I am also sorry about when I manage to get into Quinta's snacks that I eat them until I vomit.

I am sorry that I have been tucked away in blankets lately. Well, I am not really sorry about that. It has been COLD!!
Well, I think that about sums it up.

My new DIVA pink play shirt

Mommy gave me a new shirt. It is pink. This is my first pink piece of clothing. Oh, and she gave one to Quinta too. Mine is for when I hang out outside. It is supposed to help protect my skin from the harmful rays of the sun. (Don't tell anyone but some of my beauty marks are actually pre-mature age spots from spending too much time out in the sun.) Mommy understands that I have a kind of personality that can't tolerate living my whole life cooped up in the house. She allows me to really live.

The weird thing is that the shirt Mommy got for me is HUGE! Hello Mommy!! Remember?? I went on a diet and now I am a size O!! At least I look better in my pink shirt than Quinta looks in hers. Quinta looks stupid in pink.
