Straight FOOLED!

I haven't mentioned it yet but, while I LOVE playing in the backyard, sometimes I have to deal with the mean birdies that live around us. There are nice birdies too, like the pretty Lorakeets. I love watching them in our tree and they accept me. They just keep singing their pretty songs. The mean ones sit on top of our fence and yell down at me. Then they start swooping at me until Mommy or Daddy makes them go away. The mean birdies yell at me when I am walking at the park too. I HATE them.

Well, yesterday, on Halloween, when I was wearing my pumpkin costume, the mean birdies didn't even recognise me. Not one of them yelled at me all day. I had them fooled. They totally thought that I was a little pumpkin, growing in the weeds. I was able to frolick in the last remaining weedy corner in peace. I love weeds. Halloween was so fun.
