Happy Birthday Grandpa Ed!

I am not a very good poet but that doesn't stop me from writing little poems about my feelings. Aunt Stephanie says that I am a better poet than some of her 4th grade students and that makes me feel pretty good. Anyway, I was thinking about my Grandpa Ed because it was his birthday over the weekend. I decided to write a poem for him. Grandpa Ed and I are really good friends and I miss him sometimes. Here is a picture from when I was staying with Grandpa Ed. He totally spoils me!! The only problem was that I gained a lot of weight when I lived with Grandpa. Too much tuna!!
This is the poem that I wrote for my grandpa. I hope that he doesn't think that it is stupid.

My grandpa is really cool.
He has completed a lot of school.

For me, he opened a lot of tuna cans
and helped Grandma with my travel plans.

I love it when he pets my back
and when he moves over his mac

so that there is room for me on his lap.

He even cleaned out my crap.

My grandpa came to see me

during my first scary week in Sydney.

When he arrived in Rooty Hill,

I knew he loved me still.

To my wonderful grandpa, I would like to say,

I hope that you had a wonderful birthday!
